Sun Child has established partnerships with Belgian hospitals and medical institutions who provide the organization with files of seriously ill children based on their capability to cover the cost of care.
In collaboration with social workers Sun Child has made its mission to answer the call of families in need who reside in Belgium by offering the following services: financial support of health care costs related to the illness, transportation provided by volunteers of the child to and from the treatment facilities, organizing family vacations, provide volunteer moral support personnel during the child’s hospital stays and finally organizing art-therapy workshops.
